Central Banks Are Starting To Suppress The Crypto Currencies: The Ban on ICOs
The Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), a fundraising method for new crypto currencies, are banned by chines central bank and the ban caused a sharp decline in crypto currencies’ price.
The justification for the ban was:
- crypto currencies are not issued by a monetary authority,
- they don’t have any legal and monetary properties like coercion or indemnity,
- they have no legal status and
- the crypto currencies should not circulate as a currency!
In short, they ban ICOs because they don’t like crypto currencies which are out of their control.
At least, the chinese central bank is relatively more honest compared to other central banks.
